In 1984, a group of partners formed Park Square Homes to fill the growing demand for quality housing in the Central Florida area. They saw the area's increasing demand for custom homes, move-up homes, second homes and vacation housing, as well as the demand for building lots in quality communities. Park Square Homes was founded in an effort to meet these needs of the Central Florida community.

In total, Park Square Homes has developed or built several thousand homes and home-sites in the Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake and Polk county areas. For this reason, Park Square Homes continues to have a significant presence in the development and homebuilding industry. The Orlando Business Journal consistently ranks the company as one of the largest privately-held builders in Central Florida. Nationally, the company ranked in the top 120 among other builders by Builder magazine. Park Square Homes was also listed in the among the "2002 Fast Track" building companies by Builder magazine.
The company is very active in the homebuilding community, with participation in the Home Builders Association of Mid-Florida.
