    Charlotte, North Carolina: In 2003 Regent Homes' owners, who had learned the home building industry inside and out while working for other larger, nationally known homebuilders decided they could build homes just as good, if not better. And at a considerably lower price! And that is exactly what we still do today!

    This is true for a few reasons, not the least of which is the fact that unlike most other homebuilders, Regent Homes doesn't have loads and loads of wasteful, non-contributing overhead expenses. All of those unnecessary overhead expenses that the other homebuilders have are added to the costs of the homes they sell. That is the main reason why if you compare what you receive from Regent in a new home to any other builder, you'll see that they charge you considerably more.

    Another reason why Regent Homes is rapidly becoming the most popular homebuilder in the first and second time buyers' market is that we've learned that most people who are looking for a home in the price range we build in (125 - 225k) would rather have practical, usable features versus something cosmetic that you can't really utilize. A perfect example of this is Regent gives you very large Master and secondary bedrooms, huge walk-in closets and spacious Family rooms and Eat-in kitchens. Other builders often times build little secondary bedrooms w/ insufficient closet space, but might have 9' smooth ceilings on the first floor. Which would you rather have for your family?
