VISION: The Neighborhoods of Anson is a development project based on the concept of Traditional Neighborhood Development (TND). Traditional Neighborhood Development refers to the design of a complete neighborhood or town using traditional town planning principles. TND projects include a range of housing types, a network of well-connected streets and blocks, beautiful public spaces, and amenities such as retail stores, schools, and places of worship within walking distance of residences. The focus is on creating a thoughtfully planned community instead of just a subdivision. LIVE: Tree-lined streetscapes will have homes with historically-inspired designs based on the Craftsman, Early American, Colonial, Eastern Seashore and Italianate styles. These homes will feature alley load garages and offer the return of the classic front porch. The Neighborhoods will encompass a range of home plans from single story homes to large estate homes. LEARN: Younger students at Anson will attend Zionsville Public Schools from elementary through secondary education levels. Collegiate students and lifelong learners can attend state universities and private colleges in close proximity to home. PLAY: A conscious attempt has been made in the design of this community to encourage active living. Anson includes 200+ acres of open space and parks, miles of walking and hiking trails, and gathering places where neighbors meet and kids play. There is also a community center and pool in the master plan for Anson. In addition to active outdoor spaces onsite, The Neighborhoods at Anson are in close proximity to Zionsville Golf Course, Eagle Creek and other regional golf courses and parks. SHOP: Anson is just west of downtown Zionsville, putting Zionsville's Village Shops in easy reach.
