The American Home Guides Team

In 1994, this company was a traditional advertising agency, serving builders such as Centex and K. Hovnanian. The Internet was in its infancy, and newspapers were the primary source of real estate advertising, featuring bulging "New Home" sections on weekends. The only electronic media used at that time were television and radio, mostly to promote grand openings and close-outs. That year, we created Floridaguide.com; the first member in our family of web sites.

By 2004, American Home Guides had grown into a nationwide company and on our 10th Anniversary, received well over 7.5 million visits that month.

In February 2005, American Home Guides was acquired by PRIMEDIA Consumer Guides, the country's leading publisher and distributor of apartment, new home and auto guides. PRIMEDIA Consumer Guides are published bimonthly in 80 major metropolitan areas, and are provided free of charge to home buyers in supermarkets, drug stores, and convenience stores. The synergy produced by the two companies' offline and online products has created one of the most powerful and efficient media buys available to home builders.
