Home, community, neighborhood, hometown, village - words that describe the vision of McCullough in Pineville, North Carolina. From the village center with its shops and live-work homes to the many clubs that will be found throughout the neighborhood, McCullough is designed as the place you'll want to come home to the place you won't want to leave. Present plans call for athletic, community and tennis clubs for relaxation, recreation and rejuvenation. Natural areas, parks, new homes, streets, sidewalks, alleys, streetscapes - all are planned to encourage a sense of community. McCullough will bring back the true meaning of the word "neighborhood." McCullough will offer a wide selection of home styles. All designed with a classic, traditional look, future residents will be offered a selection of single family homes from John Wielands Heritage, American Classic and Signature series or a variety of proven townhome plans. A number of the homes and townhomes will also be new designs unique to McCullough. The first phase, which is expected to offer seven different kinds of homes, will center around one of McCullough's many planned "greens". These pocket parks and natural areas will add visual comfort and activity areas throughout the neighborhood. Now open, the turn-of-the-century home of W. A. Yandell has been restored to house the McCullough Information Center. The Yandell home restoration was done by John Wieland Homes & Neighborhoods.
